Small changes, big impact?

I never got back on here last night to post my resolutions. I decided to lay down for a short nap at about nine and did not get up until just before midnight. We said Happy New Year and I went back to bed again.
This year I am not going to make any of the crazy, impossible resolutions. I am hoping that if I just try to make little changes to my life I will see a big impact.

Most importantly, I want to have more patience, with myself and also with my daughter. I know that I am often far too critical of her and myself so that is one big change I want to make.

As for small changes:
1. I really want to start stamping more but my stamping area is really scary right now and when I go up there I get so overwhelmed I just walk out. So my small change here is to go up there and spend just 15 minutes each day straightening until it is clean enough that I can stamp without stressing.
2. I want to start taking more pictures and learning more about my camera so my small change here is to go back and do each of the photography challenges on Splitcoast Stampers and keep up with the new ones as they come out.
3. I am also going to start moving more, no telling myself I need to work out every day but I want to get up and move a bit more each day.

Well, I am off to get some laundry done.

  1. That's a good way to get moving...do laundry. I would say going up and down stairs is a great way to start.

I like your resolutions. Let me know if you need any help with your room. Keith is gone on Saturdays now, so let's pick a Saturday that we are both free and work together.

  2. Great way to start moving, doing laundry will get you running up and down the stairs.

Your resolutions sound great. I've seen your upstairs, it's very overwelming. Keith is gone on Saturdays, so let's set a date for me to come help you get your room ready.
