So it is New Year's Eve and time for a bit of reflection and planning. I started this blog last January and after February pretty much let it go. Seems funny to see pics of Gimli before we ever brought him home and now he is huge!! And I mean HUGE, really, we haven't had him weighed in quite some time but he has to be 125 pounds at least.
I really don't want to make any resolutions for the New Year because I can never seem to follow through but I think I need to at least resolve to take myself less seriously, spend more time doing my creative endeavors, play more and understand that the house does not need to be perfectly clean.
I am going into this New Year knowing that I will be losing my job at Amerock later this year. While I am sad to be leaving the company I need to embrace the chance to change my focus. I am really hoping that I can turn my hobbies into a business so that the creative part of me will no longer need to be a "when I have some free time" part of my life. Hence the new name of my blog. I have a few ideas of places to sell my cards and crafts but needed to come up with a name for my business and decided on Charmed Creationz by Abbyzmommy.

I love the new name. You should post some of your cards on your blog. Also look at Microsoft Office Live if you want to start a website. We can talk some more about it if you want.

Cheryl, It was when I "lost" (quit to be a SAHM) my job that I really started looking at Scrapbooking and stamping as something I could do AS a job AND still have fun with it! I love sharing it and I think it does help not to take it too seriously! :) I love the name you picked and wish you all the best!! :)
